I always have to have sleeves shortened on coats/jackets, but the sleeve length on this coat is perfect. The details with the back button on the flap, the belted cuff, shoulder epaulets and zipper on the sleeve make this a very unique coat (that's why I bought it. it's a very, very cool coat), but the arms and shoulders run small/very slender. You could leave the coat unbuttoned and still be warm with just the inner section zipped up. The top-stitching is very nice (Black with white stitching). Read more I purchased this coat a year ago (from another website) and just had to leave a review here on Amazon when I stumbled across it. This is my all-time favorite winter coat that I have ever owned. The knitted collar is ribbed and the body portion is just solid wool, not ribbed.
